Product Inventory Management - Requirements and Use Cases
This document identifies the common Product Inventory attributes and processes needed to support inter-carrier retrieval of Product Inventory. This document supports the requirements defined in the MEF Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) Reference Architecture and Framework (MEF 55) requirements for Inventory over the Sonata interface (Service Provider <-> Partner interactions). Information contained within this document will be utilized by both Buyer and Seller inventory systems for the development of automated API systems.
Subscriber Ethernet Services Definitions
This document defines three Subscriber Ethernet Service constructs called Subscriber Ethernet Service Types and six Subscriber Ethernet Services with Service Attribute values as specified in MEF 10.4, “Subscriber Ethernet Services Attributes” and in MEF 45.1, “Layer 2 Control Protocols in Ethernet Services”. These Subscriber Ethernet Service Types are used to create Point-to-Point, Multipoint-to-Multipoint, and Rooted-Multipoint Ethernet Services that are either Port or VLAN based. This document supersedes and replaces MEF 6.2, “EVC Ethernet Services Definitions – Phase 3”.
Subscriber Ethernet Service Attributes
This document describes Service Attributes for Subscriber Ethernet Services provided to an Ethernet Subscriber by an Ethernet Service Provider. The Service Attributes describe behaviors observable at an Ethernet User Network Interface and from Ethernet User Network Interface to Ethernet User Network Interface. In addition, a framework for defining specific instances of Subscriber Ethernet Services is described. Finally, extensive examples and explanatory material is included in appendices.
Operator Ethernet Service Definition
51.1 specifies Operator Ethernet Services based on the Service Attributes defined in MEF 26.2. The key service constructs are the Operator Virtual Connection (OVC) and the OVC End Points at the External Interfaces (EIs) – the External Network Network Interface (ENNI) and the User Network Interface (UNI).
MEF 57.1 - Ethernet Ordering Technical Standard - Business Requirements and Use Cases
This document represents the cumulative work between MEF and ATIS Ordering and Billing Forum (OBF) to identify the common ordering attributes and processes needed to support inter-carrier Product Ordering of Ethernet Services worldwide. This document supports the requirements defined in the MEF Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) Reference Architecture and Framework (MEF 55, “LSO RA”) requirements for Ordering over the Sonata interface (Service Provider <-> Partner interactions). Information contained within this document will be utilized by both Buyer and Seller ordering systems for the development of automated API systems.
