This document defines the Traffic and Performance parameters that may be specified as part of an Ethernet service level specification (SLS). These parameters are defined to provide Subscrib- ers with both a quantitative and qualitative characterization of the service they are getting from a provider, sufficient to allow configuration of CE and integration of the service into the Subscrib- er network. Consistent use of these parameters in the SLS will allow Subscribers to compare various service offerings. Additionally, Service Providers may use these parameters as guide- lines for specifying CoS-based Ethernet services.
