This document replaces Section 8 of MEF 6.1 requirements that are in line with the current IEEE standards: 1588-2008, 802.1aj-2009, 802.1AB-2009, and 802.1X-2010 with the exception of the material related to EPL Option 2 that is retained from MEF 6.1., with supplemental information added.
