MEF LSO Adagio is the Interface Reference Point between the infrastructure control and the element control layers of a service provider’s domain within the LSO Reference Architecture. In principle, it allows the specific domain controllers to interface with the individual network elements or a network element management function. In practice, some element-management systems span the infrastructure-control and element-control layers.
The nature of this interface is highly element-specific. Currently, MEF is not focused on definition work in LSO Adagio.

Currently, MEF is not focused on definition work at the LSO Adagio Reference Point. The majority of MEF definition work within the service provider domain is at the LSO Legato and LSO Presto Reference Points.
